JAM Project - Hurricane Tour 2009 Gate of the Future
Record of the final night of the anison supergroup's Hurricane Tour 2009, released by Lantis on September 25, 2009 as a two-disc DVD set: the whole Budokan concert on the LIVE DISC, and a Special DISC of footage from every stop of the tour. The back panel sells it as the complete keepsake edition of the group's first Nippon Budokan concert.
The tour ran April 11 – June 12, 2009 - eleven dates across ten venues in Japan, Korea and Taiwan, the Taiwan venue played twice - closing at Nippon Budokan, the group's first one-man show at the hall, to an audience of around 8,000.
Line-up, as the jacket prints it under JAM Project are: Hironobu Kageyama, Masaaki Endoh, Hiroshi Kitadani, Masami Okui, Yoshiki Fukuyama and Ricardo Cruz. Cruz, the group's Brazil-based semi-regular member, played the last four dates of the tour, the Budokan among them; every surface of the package sets his name exactly as the other five. The support band: MACARONI☆ and TAKEO on guitar, IKUO on bass, Shiho Terada on keyboards and Hideki Aoyama on drums.
Disc 1 - LIVE DISC: Nippon Budokan, June 12, 2009
The whole show, 173 minutes by the jacket, in 35 chapters: one for each entry in Disc contents, the eight MCs included. The back panel and the booklet print the same list, each song with the game, anime or drama it was written for beside it. This disc carries a DTS 5.1 track beside the Dolby Digital 2.0.
Disc 2 - Special DISC: The Tour
The back panel files it as 映像特典/ツアー密着映像 - bonus footage, close-up on the tour - and the jacket gives it 171 minutes. A film from each of the tour's eleven stops, in tour order, then three shorter pieces: Hurricane Tour Making; Member's Profile, a still page for each of the six members; and BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE special, a closing piece made of the tour's audiences. The back panel names the middle piece JAM' s Works; the disc's own menu has no item of that name, and puts Member's Profile in its place.
Credits and Packaging
Released by Lantis and distributed by Bandai Visual, at ¥6,000 (¥5,714 before tax). The DVD was produced by Lantis with KIDS STATION and DAIICHIKOSHO, made by SEVEN A - directed by Kazuhiro "ban!" Bamba and Masanori Shiraishi - and authored by Video-Tech. The jacket's inner side carries the whole credits panel, tour crew and DVD crew alike, and the four-page booklet holds a grid of tour photographs and the tracklist. The spine and the back panel misprint the tour as Harricane.
