SUNDAY FOLK PROMOTION

Sunday Folk is the name of a Japanese corporate group headquartered in Higashi-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.

Its official name had been Sunday Folk Promotion Co., Ltd. since its establishment on June 2, 1973, but it was changed to Sunday Folk Front Co., Ltd. on April 1, 2008, when it consolidated its group companies and transitioned into an operating holding company. On the same date, its concert planning, management and production divisions, among others, were spun off to establish Sunday Folk Promotion Co., Ltd. On July 1, 2009, its television production division and Digital Tank division (Digital Tank!) were incorporated separately, forming Sunday Folk Media Co., Ltd. In connection with the transition to a holding company, Sunday Folk Front Co., Ltd. was renamed Sunday Folk Management Co., Ltd. In 2022, Sunday Folk Promotion acquired all shares from Sunday Folk Management and holds them itself. It currently has no affiliation whatsoever with Sunday Folk Management.
