The Concert
The 2025 series ran to five shows: Sapporo in February, Osaka in April, Tokyo in July, Yokohama in October and Kobe in December. Kurita has conducted Miku Symphony since its first concert, at the Tokyo International Forum in August 2016. At Yokohama he led the Tokyo Philharmonic, with the Suginami Children's Choir on six numbers, while Miku and the other virtual singers sang from the screen above the orchestra. The anniversary year's key art by Rella shows Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO and KAITO in white and gold winged costumes before a rose window and organ pipes.
The show opens with halyosy's "Blessing", then plays kikuo's "Aishite Aishite Aishite", Kurousa-P's "ACUTE" running into its sequel "ReAct", "Migikata no Chou", "Tsugai Kogarashi" and "Dear", which closes the first half. Hitorie open the second half with a medley of songs by wowaka, the band's founder: "Uraomote Lovers", "Rolling Girl", "Unhappy Refrain" and "World's End Dancehall", then play "Unknown Mother-Goose" with the orchestra. It was Hitorie's first Miku Symphony, which the booklet's history of the series marks as the first by a rock band, and they returned for the Kobe show in December. "Hand in Hand" ends the main set.
The encore opens with two hits of 2024, Satsuki's "Mesmerizer" and Yoshida Yasei's "Override". Then comes a tenth-anniversary medley that starts and ends with "Popipo" and is made of songs that stood for each year of the series: "Mirai Jokyoku", the first theme song, "Butai", the fifth-anniversary theme, "Kaijin" for KAITO's fifteenth anniversary, "Ao wo Kubete", written for the 2022 Yokohama show, the "Aku no Musume" and "Aku no Meshitsukai" pair from the 2023 feature for the fifteenth anniversary of mothy's Aku no series, and others. Mitchie M's "Play On", the theme song of the series' tenth year, follows, with Beethoven and Bach credited beside him as composers. "Melt" closes the night.
The disc runs on past the curtain call into the end credits and a comment segment marking the series' tenth anniversary, in which Crypton Future Media's Hiroyuki Ito is among the speakers. The spec bar gives the whole programme as about 123 minutes, in 1080i with linear PCM stereo at 96 kHz/24-bit.
The Package and the Booklet
The release comes in an outer box carrying Rella's key art on the front and the anniversary crest on the back, with an obi wrapped round it that prints the set list and the spec bar. Inside, the case sleeve has a chibi version of the six singers on its front, and the first-press bonus was an original can badge with Rella's art. The eighteen-page booklet opens with profiles of the conductor and the orchestra and the set list. It then gives the show's details, eleven pages of photographs from the night, two of them of Hitorie, and a two-page history of every Miku Symphony concert from 2016 to 2025, with each show's hall, conductor and orchestra. It ends with the songs' rights, the credits and a list of the 2025 shows.
