The American edition of 初音ミク「マジカルミライ 2016」, the fourth in Crypton Future Media's annual Hatsune Miku concert series. The show was staged at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba across the 9th to the 11th of September 2016 - two nights of live performance in Hall 9, alongside a three-day exhibition in Halls 10 and 11.
Miku appears with Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO and KAITO, projected onto the stage in front of a five-piece live band. A screen count-up from one to thirty-nine opens the show and runs into "39music!", Mikito-P's theme song for that year's event; the players are introduced from the stage after "remote controller", and "ray" closes the main set ahead of a three-song encore.
Victor Entertainment issued the concert in Japan on December 21, 2016 as VIXL-174, with a limited edition as VIZL-1078 and a DVD as VIZL-1079. This record is the later American edition, issued on March 2, 2021 and manufactured by Damson Lane through Cinedigm, which carries the same 119-minute programme - in Dolby Digital rather than the original's DTS-HD, and with the Japanese lyric subtitles removed.
