GUILTY GEAR×BLAZBLUE MUSIC LIVE 2011 is the DVD of a concert Arc System Works held on January 22, 2011 at Club Citta' in Kawasaki, built around the music Daisuke Ishiwatari wrote for the company's two fighting-game series, Guilty Gear and BlazBlue. Star Jam released it on May 11, 2011, and first pressings came in a slipcase with a live CD made from the concert's audio.

The Concert
Fans requested songs through the event's site beforehand, and the five most-requested from each series were all in the set, played by a live band with no name of its own: Atsushi Hasegawa on bass, Toshihiro Kajihara, Ryuta Tsubokawa and RYO on guitar, YUHKI of Galneryus on keyboards, KEN☆KEN on drums, Ayumu Koshikawa on violin and Sachi Kitazawa on chorus. The show opened with a film introducing every game in both series, then went into BlazBlue: "Continuum Shift", Ragna's theme "Rebellion" and Hazama's theme "Gluttony Fang".
Two of BlazBlue's voice actors sang. Kanako Kondo, the voice of Noel Vermillion, sang "Stardust Memory ~Yakusoku no Basho~" and "Love So Blue ~Ao no Kodou~". Tsuyoshi Koyama, the voice of Bang Shishigami, sang "Reppuu" and "Omae no Tettsui ni Kugi wo Ute", a song first recorded by Hironobu Kageyama; he had sung "Reppuu" at a BlazBlue event the spring before, was not happy with it, and said he had come back for revenge.
Between the halves, Ishiwatari, BlazBlue producer Toshimichi Mori, Kondo, Koyama and host Tomomi Isomura, the voice of Makoto Nanaya, answered questions players had sent in. Ishiwatari said he had written Guilty Gear's music with rock and roll in mind and BlazBlue's to carry drama, and Mori, who called himself a fan of Ishiwatari's, said he had talked a reluctant Ishiwatari into scoring BlazBlue over coffee near the office. The second half ran from Guilty Gear's "Still in the Dark" to "The Cat Attached to the Rust", the ending theme of Guilty Gear Isuka, seventeen songs in all.
The Release
The DVD runs 115 minutes in nineteen chapters: the opening film, the seventeen songs and a thirty-minute talk corner in the middle. Every printed list, and the song's own title card in the video, spells Tsubaki's theme "Condemination Wings"; the label published an erratum giving the title as "Condemnation Wings".
The bonus CD, catalogued SJBM-11002, holds the seventeen songs from the same recording, with the opening and the talk cut, as the slip that lists its tracks says. Its split between "Rebellion" and "Gluttony Fang" falls 21 seconds later than the DVD's: the CD's "Rebellion" ends with the solo keyboard intro that opens "Gluttony Fang", and its "Gluttony Fang" starts where the full band comes in.
The first-press slipcase carries Sol Badguy on the front and Ragna the Bloodedge on the back; the case inside has a photograph of the show under the title. The booklet gives a card with a photograph to each player, singer and host, then the track list and the credits. The illustrations are credited to Ishiwatari and Mori.
