Community rules
Last updated October 6, 2026.
These apply to everything members add to megafan.wiki: usernames, bios, collection notes, forum posts and scan submissions. They're short because the site is small. The aim is a place where people who love these discs can talk about them.
The Rules
- Be decent. Disagree all you like about a band or a pressing, but don't harass, threaten or demean anyone. Nothing that attacks people for who they are.
- No piracy. Don't post or ask for rips, downloads, torrents, streams or links to them. This site catalogues discs. It doesn't distribute them.
- Only your own scans. Submit scans you made yourself of a disc you own or hold. Don't upload pictures taken from other sites or other people.
- Don't pretend to be someone else, whether another member, an artist, a label or me.
- Keep other people's details out of it. No addresses, phone numbers, real names someone hasn't shared, or anything else that identifies a private person.
- No spam or advertising. Mentioning a shop where you found a disc is fine. Posting links to sell things, or to earn from them, isn't.
- Nothing illegal, sexual or graphic.
- One person, one account. Don't make a new account to get around a suspension or a ban.
If Something Breaks the Rules
Use the report button on the profile or post, and say why. Reports go to me, and I read every one.
What happens depends on how serious it is and whether it has happened before:
- the content is removed;
- the account is suspended for a while;
- the account is banned.
Spam, piracy and threats can lead to an immediate ban. If you think I got a decision wrong, write to me at claims@megafan.wiki.
