Overview
Studio Easter is a background art production company established in 1985 by Junichi Higashi, an animation art director formerly of Tatsunoko Production, now Tatsunoko Production Co., Ltd. It has a branch office in South Korea, “KOREA EASTER STUDIO”. Its main activities include the production of animation backgrounds, digital painting (finishing), and cinematography, and it also undertakes 3DCG animation production.
It primarily creates backgrounds for works by TMS Entertainment, P.A.WORKS, and Doga Kobo.
The company has also assigned names such as “Sakura Team”, “Yatsu Team”, and “Momiji Team” to its individual production teams, and has at times listed these team names, rather than the name of a specific art director, in the credits of productions in which it participated.
