Overview

The company strongly promotes publicity strategies such as elaborate artist photographs and official websites, the rapid consecutive release of recordings over short periods, releases featuring several different CD jacket designs, and coupling tours by its affiliated bands.

Representative director Tomomi Ozaki became a production staff member after first being a fan of visual kei bands.

In 2005, the company partnered with King Records and launched the PS music label. On November 23, it re-released CDs and DVDs that had previously been distributed independently through major distribution channels. Thereafter, new releases, excluding those by Miyavi and Kagrra,, were released through PS music.

In May 2007, separately from the major-label division for Miyavi, Kagrra,, Kra, the GazettE, and Alice Nine, the company established Indie PSC., a small-scale division for developing independent artists. In recent years, BORN was affiliated with Indie PSC.

On January 3, 2009, PS COMPANY held its 10th-anniversary concert, “Peace & Smile Carnival”, at the Nippon Budokan. Tickets sold out on the day they went on sale.

In 2009, the contracts between PS COMPANY’s affiliated bands and King Records expired. From 2010, Kagrra,’s new releases were issued independently through distribution by Crown Tokuma Music Distribution. Subsequently, it was decided that the GazettE would release through Sony Music Records and Alice Nine through Tokuma Japan Communications.

In 2011, SuG, which had been affiliated with the company, announced a hiatus and left the agency.

On March 2, 2014, Rave joined Indie PSC.

On September 30, 2016, the LOTUS left the agency following the end of its exclusive contract.
